ELECTRONIC MUSIC:
THE ROSENBERG ALGORITHM

I'm interested in rhythmic intricacy, mesmeric loops, random processes and micro-tonal and non-Western tuning systems. Using Max/MSP, I've created a patch, which goes by the name The Rosenberg Algorithm, that will one day be entirely autonomous. I often use random processes in my music, with the help of Random.org. I choose track titles with inspiration from Random Word Haiku. I've begun to use the Internet Archive to host my audio files. Email praise only to Mick Sussman.

    COMPUTER MUSIC VOL. 5
The elastic phrase studies: multiple phrases evolve, altering their lengths slightly at each repetition, creating a tempo-less, meter-less shifting sensation. I also began a method of sampling small slivers of sound and then pitch-shifting them to create micro-tonal, non-Western and experimental tunings.
